About Us

At Throne and Heart, books aren’t just stories, they’re a way of life. From childhood adventures spent with the Swallows and Amazon's or scurrying through the back of wardrobes to today’s sci-fi epics and swoony romantasy worlds, I can always be found with my nose buried deep in a book.

After years working as a healthcare professional I’ve taken the leap to follow my dream: creating a space where fellow book lovers can discover, collect and cherish beautiful editions.

This little shop is run by me (and the dogs, who are always ready to say hello!) with a big ambition: to make stunning editions more accessible and affordable, so everyone can build the bookcase of their dreams. Beyond the books, I also want to grow a community - a place for book clubs, themed evenings, member perks and the joy of connecting with people who share the same passion for stories that transport us.

We're online at the moment but watch out for our physical space coming 2026.
